Defeat an eligible Beastia
Not every corpse exposes a soul. Hunt creatures or quest targets that permit Requiem and keep your Anima summoned.
Anima Profession III · Purification
Let your Anima cleanse an eligible fallen Beastia’s wounded soul and recover the Soul Crystals left behind.
At a glance
Requiem works on eligible dead Beastia or exposed souls. Select or click the fallen target and allow the Anima to perform the rite. A successful result can produce a Soul Crystal used by Cultivation and quests.
The level 15 chain below is the only way to learn Requiem. Your level 10 bonding quest is still needed first, because it gives you the Anima that performs the rite.
The Requiem chain
This reunites you with your Anima, which every profession needs. It does not grant Requiem on its own.
Cepa sends you to Matriarch Yorupa at Natura Asylum. Yorupa knows the rite better than he does.
Yorupa gives a Charm of Seeing and sends you to kill Black Oxen in Windy Plain. After enough kills, a Trapped Soul appears; perform Requiem and return its Soul Crystal to Cepa.
The opening quest, 10003501, used to be switched off, which left the whole chain unreachable. It is enabled again, so the ladder runs the way the other four professions already did.
The rite
Not every corpse exposes a soul. Hunt creatures or quest targets that permit Requiem and keep your Anima summoned.
Click the dead Beastia or visible trapped soul. The client can ask permission before your Anima begins, depending on the Anima permission setting.
Do not move away or interrupt the action. On success, collect the Soul Crystal or quest proof and make sure your inventory has room.
Where it is usable
Requiem is used in combat areas throughout Prius whenever the defeated creature supports the rite. Confirmed quest examples include Black Oxen in Windy Plain and Violent Souls near the Cave Wrecked Ship in Oblivion Cave.
The Charm of Seeing belongs to the original tutorial; ordinary later use is the Anima’s own skill.
If the rite does not start
Anima behavior settings can require approval before communication, Requiem, or Harvesting. Check those settings before you conclude the profession is broken.
