Identify a tameable target
Only certain living Beastia can be tamed. The rare Pero (Perfero, Porci, and Armentum) show a special pattern on the selected nameplate.

Weaken a tameable Beastia, then let your Anima reach it. Rare Pero may yield the crystal needed to create a summonable mount.
At a glance
One attempt per Beastia
Damage the target first, select it, then click the heart icon beside the Anima nameplate or use Ctrl + T. Your Anima gets only one taming attempt on that individual creature, so weaken it substantially before trying.
Current server behavior
The level 20 chain below is the only way to learn TAMING. It also supplies the Portable Music Bag that its Wandering Onion trial needs.

How to complete the Taming chain
- [20] Taming: Gardener Cepa
Find Cepa in Anima Mode at the Atrium. Take his recommendation to Drill Master Amaryllis in Luna Deor.
- [20] Beastia Taming: prepare first
Travel southwest of Luna Deor to the Wandering Onions before activating the Portable Music Bag. Once equipped and activated, its effect lasts only 10 minutes.
- Weaken and tame a Wandering Onion
Damage a Wandering Onion, select it, then use the heart-shaped Tame command. Do not kill it. Completion permanently grants TAMING.

Find a Perfero in the Forest of Phantasms. Tame it for a Crystal of Being: Perfero, buy a Grindstone of Soul in either Metropolis, and combine the two to create Summon Pero: Perfero.

Lower its health
Taming chance improves after the target takes damage. The tutorial advice points toward very low health, but stop attacking before it dies.

Issue the Tame command
With the target selected and Anima present, click the heart icon beside her nameplate or press Ctrl + T. You cannot retry that same Beastia.

If Tame will not work
Troubleshooting
- The target must be alive and tameable.
- Your Anima must be summoned and close.
- Damage the target before the one allowed attempt.
- For the tutorial, confirm the Portable Music Bag is active and its 10-minute timer remains.
- If the command is missing, check the Tame key binding and profession status.
Chance calculation
The server considers the creature’s tame ratio, Anima intimacy and advice, profession proficiency, target level, and premium bonus. A failure on one animal does not mean the profession is broken.
