Fourteen paths from seven beginningsClass Advancement

Prepare for the level 25 examination, understand the permanent oath choice, and compare every advanced class by its actual role and skill-tree themes.

Level 2514 advanced classes10-minute examination

Before you begin

One examination, then one permanent oath

Every base class can begin its advancement at level 25. Your advisor gives you the consultation quest and a quest item. Use that item, meet Knight Christopher Chevalier De Vitesse, complete his timed examination, then interact with the oath object for your chosen path.

The two paths exclude each other

Once you complete one oath, the other can no longer be taken. Read both rows for your class before interacting with an oath. Do not treat the final choice as a temporary loadout.

Exact progression

The level 25 advancement sequence

  1. [25] Class Change - Consult Your Advisor

Speak to the advisor listed below. Accept the quest item and use it from your inventory. This completes the consultation task and opens the shared examination.

  2. [25+] Christopher Chevalier De Vitesse

Speak with Knight Christopher. Defeat all six examiner NPCs within the 10-minute limit. Enter with repaired gear, enough recovery items, and empty inventory space.

  3. Review both advanced paths

Open the skill descriptions and decide which role you want to carry into parties. Damage, tanking, healing, support, and control are distributed differently even when both branches can fight alone.

  4. Take one Oath quest

Interact with the class-specific oath object. Completion promotes your character. Once you have chosen, the other oath is closed.

Solo-first choice

If you mostly play alone

Dealer paths usually produce the simplest solo route. Hybrid paths are valuable when you enjoy tools and flexibility. Tank and healer paths can still quest, but their strongest advantages appear when a party needs survival, threat control, or recovery.

  • Read the early active skills and the end of the tree.
  • Check whether your preferred weapon and combat range stay comfortable.
  • Do not choose only from the oath title. Role labels and skill effects are more useful.

Party-first choice

Build for the seat you want

Sentinel, Gladiator, and Cursed Vanguard fill tank roles. Shaman and Orchestrator are the dedicated healers. Mastermind and Duelist bring hybrid utility. The remaining paths are damage focused.

  • Tanks need repaired equipment and awareness of threat tools.
  • Healers need resource management and clear party positioning.
  • Damage paths should learn interrupts, control, and survival skills too.
