Quest-by-quest walkthrough
- [10] Sign on the Dotted Line
Accept the quest from Drill Master Noah in Aurora. Clinic workers found a package while sorting your luggage, and Admiral Lachel is holding it. Follow the town marker and speak with Admiral Lachel. No item use or combat is required.
- [10] Communion of Souls: receive the flower
Accept Admiral Lachel's follow-up. The package contains the Amoena Flower found with you after the battalion incident. Accepting the quest places it in your quest inventory.
- Find the Altar of White Wood
Travel into the White Woods. The altar stands before a large white tree in the deepest part of the woods. Use the quest guide for the exact Altar of White Wood marker.
- Use the Amoena Flower at the altar
Stand inside the marked altar region and use the flower from the quest tracker or quest inventory. The item must be used at this location.
- Follow Star Tail Entrance, then Star Tail
The objective advances to Star Tail Entrance. Let the scripted Anima appearance finish, then continue to the final Star Tail marker. The reunion cutscene binds your Anima and completes Communion of Souls.

Every profession needs an Anima, so this quest opens the way to all of them. Each one is learned from its own quest: Cooking at level 10, Harvesting at 11, Cultivation at 12, Purification at 15, Taming at 20, and Mining at 64.

Troubleshooting
- Reach level 10 and begin with Drill Master Noah.
- Check the quest inventory for the Amoena Flower after speaking with Admiral Lachel.
- Use the flower inside the Altar of White Wood quest circle.
- After the offering, follow both Star Tail objectives in order.
- Wait for the scripted Anima appearance before moving to the final marker.
